Maersk has enhanced its services for Pakistan's importers and exporters by adding Karachi to its rotation, providing direct coverage of Far East markets with approximately 30 %  faster transist times.  The Managing director of Pakistan Hasan Faraz, emphasized the company's commitment to strengthening its presence in Pakistan. The inclusion of Karachi in the FI3 service offers significant advantages, with the SAPT deep-sea port providing technological efficiency and proximity to key markets, reducing both ocean and landside transit times. This development is particularly beneficial for imports from China, catering to the automotive industry and other commercial sectors. Additionally, exports of perishable commodities, facilitated by reefer containers, will experience reduced transit times, contributing to decreased food wastage. The updated service rotation includes major ports such as Qingdao, Xingang, Busan, Tanjung Pelepas, and others.
