DP World, in partnership with Deendayal Port Authority, is investing ₹5,000 crore in a groundbreaking greenfield mega container terminal at Tuna-Tekra, Gujarat. This project, the largest under the private-public partnership model for major ports, includes a ₹4,500 crore investment by DP World and ₹500 crore by DPA for infrastructure. The terminal, expected to be completed in three years, aims to handle over 18,000 TEU container ships and compete with Adani's Mundra port. With a concession period of 30 years and high revenue potential, it is anticipated to fuel trade demand in northern, western, and central India. The extensive multimodal network by DP World in Gujarat further strengthens the company's commitment to efficient and expansive service.
