Wärtsilä to Expand Swedish BioLNG Plant's Capacity to 45 Tons per Day

Technology group Wärtsilä has secured a contract to extend a Swedish bioLNG plant, owned by Tekniska Verken, increasing bioLNG production from 20 to 45 tons per day. The project involves supplying, installing, and commissioning biogas upgrading and liquefaction units, utilizing Wärtsilä's patented vacuum technology. The plant, located in Linköping, aims to contribute to Sweden's vision of becoming the world's most resource-effective region by producing biomethane from organic waste for use in the transport sector and industry.
