Maersk Line, a Danish shipping company, has achieved a world record by loading 19,038 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) on its second-generation Triple-E vessel, the Mumbai Maersk. Departing from Tanjung Pelepas Port in Malaysia, the ship is en route to Europe, surpassing the previous record set by the first-generation Triple-E vessel, Madison Maersk, in 2015 with 18,215 TEU. This milestone reflects Maersk's commitment to improving the performance of APM Terminals, with the company achieving heightened productivity and setting new records in container handling efficiency.
